Not sure if right place, but milestone in my house

100% right on the ammo. I use the G44 with new shooters. I start them off with 10 rds. of 40gr. Spangers. Then I start working lighter ammo into their mags. Stovepipes, FTE’s, and all manner of excellent learning possibilities ensue.

Brother Joel, I am sorry for the medical problems and also so happy she has that spark again.

My Wife has her own medical problems and shooting hurts her as well. She does have a Marlin Model 60 she loves and is lethal with. I have to remind her from time to time we live in the city and she can’t just go out back and pluck squirrels out of the trees like Papa_Zed does.

Brother Joel
Excellent Topic! As others have said ‘Good for your Wife to get the shooting Spark back’.
(and you get you Gun buddy back also).
A ‘suggestion’ popped into my head with all the helpful comments made here.
Years ago in physical recovery it was hard for me to shoot a Long gun (I missed it dearly).
My Wife bought me a ‘Mono-Pod’ and (Single pole support AND WALKING STICK!)
This helped me shoot my beloved AR’s and Weatherby till the Legs/Hips solidified
into some semblance of normalcy. Taking that into account there are Bi=Pods/Tri-Pods
also that could be used as ‘Rests’ for her arms for handguns over .22 caliber perhaps?
I LOVE my M&P .22 AR but I also love the BIG BANG GUNS! just a suggestion.
Hugs to the Wife.

Unfortunately it gives her another weapon to beat me with. Im known for saying whats on my mind and well, sometimes it gets me in trouble.

I know i can out run her but with the mono-pod, im gonna have to move faster

I “borrowed” my wife’s 8-shot 22 J frame yesterday and took it to the range with me. I had so much fun with that little gun. I’m very used to the .38sp version of the same gun, and have a lot of practice rapid fire with the DA trigger. I felt like Jerry Miculek with that little gun. Zero recoil, and I could empty the cylinder in no time. She has a Crimson Trace laser on it, so it was just put the dot on the X, and fire away.

Fun! At 7 yards I was holding 1-2 inch groups faster than I’ve ever fired a handgun.

Just accept this fact if you love guns and purchase them frequently. I have several ideas for storage and displays in my garage(where I reside most of the time) (Thanks @Karacal) but I have to keep in mind moisture control and my wife, who will see new guns displayed or stored when she gets in her car(also in the garage).

Sell the Bersa and treat your wife or display all of her shoes in the garage next to your guns to show her she never told you she bought any more.

With a view like that who needs guns ?

A fine example of the phenomenon known as recoil.

Folks, take care of your bodies. Dont be stupid
