Went to a USHL hockey game tonight. My daughter has played in this arena for over 10 years and now she’s a coach. Went out after the 1st period and noticed a door slightly propped open leading to the tunnels under the arena. Told security and they were all over it. Probably nothing but….see something, say something
Local PD encourages us to report anyway.
Situational awareness, so yeah, firearms training related.
Zombieland rule number 22…..
When in doubt, know your way out.
Bitch of it is us that under state law i cant carry in an arena. My smith was in the truck but I still had my knife. Very tempting to carry in the arena but is a very blue area when it comes to guns. Im not gonna go to jail for wokeness. I still have my knife
I’ll take it as a win.
Unless there’s a metal detector, I will have my knife.
State law says no firearms in sports arenas. Nothing about knives
No metal detectors. I could have carried and no one would have known. During a hockey game I like to have a few beers so left the smith in the truck. Still had my knife though
Basically, if something doesn’t seem right, say something. This country is going to shidt in some areas.
@Joel106 My daughter had a Haitian ride up in her yard on a Sunday evening trying to sell internet. She is in a small town, close to a lot of huge infrastructure. She called me. I told her to call 911. They told her all officers were busy. See something. Say something was what I thought but it didn’t work in this case.
12 gauge with slugs will
@Karacal yep that’s exactly what I would have greeted him with. She’s too nice. I can’t say here what I told her to say if someone else came up in her yard.
Beer makes all the difference in that situation, at least in my case, can’t consume alcohol when carrying.
They ignore a “no soliciting” sign next to my Ring doorbell camera.
Folks cant read nowadays. Gotta love public education. Also with the entitlement thing nowadays
My wife caught 2 guys taking our gate off at the property. The hinge they were working on was about 2 feet below the “no tresspassing, private property “ sign. They said they didnt know.
Our German shepherd made them real compliant
You did the right thing It is not wise to ignore something like that these days. Telling security was the responsible thing to do.
you are aware they makes knives that are not metal???
Yes, and while I don’t carry it, I have my stepdads carbon fiber tanto diving knife.
I would have carried anyway. Who’s gonna know? Unless you had to draw in which case who gives a crap? Your live is more important than any trial. Just call the number on your USCCA card if you do.
Exactly, you only have one and Amazon doesn’t sell them.
Gibbs rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife.
