Long, long time ago we started with black front plane post… then somebody added dot, then the dot became more visible by either fiber rod, tritium or fluorescent paint… now instead of dot is notch…
What’s the difference? Zero… If you know how to align sights using single point of focus - target/threat… there’s really no difference how the front sight looks like.
I’m not telling NDEX is bad… it may work for people the same way as different reticles work… meaning - personal preference.
So, for me there’s no changes in sighting philosophy.
