Music that moves you (Slow Dance)...any theme but has to mean something to you...a memory...a feeling...lyrics with meaning

Jessica, covered* by Widespread Panic

*This is with Chuck Leavell of the Allman Brothers.
*WSP’s lead guitarist, Jimmy Herring, has also played with the Allman Bros in the past (as well as The Grateful Dead (and later The Other Ones, The Dead), Aquarium Rescue Unit and others).
*WSP’s drummer, Duane Trucks, is the nephew of Butch Trucks (Allman Bros drummer) and younger brother of Derek Trucks (former Allman Bros guitarist). He’s also married to Jimmy Herring’s daughter.
**Guess what I am saying is that it may as well be the Allman Brothers, just without either of the Allman brothers, Duane or Gregg.

Gracias!

Music has been a big part of my life and my tatstes are bit all over the place. If there’s talent being displayed, I can usually get behind whatever it is that they’re creating.

@ZoldFrog Me two. Everything but the urban/rap stuff. Cannot deal with that. As I write I have the Kinks’ Shangrilah playing. Just finished a round of Lighthouse and Sly and the Family Stone. Next could be some piano/violin. Guess I get bored easily. :smirk:

@ZoldFrog That is all great stuff. As for Classical Gas, it’s like bacon. Gotta love it.

I saw Huey Lewis at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles in the early 80’s.
Good times!
