It’s a rule on what is prohibited from carrying in public which does not include all firearms, it’s limited to Shotguns, Rifles and BB Guns. It does not include handguns. Not exactly sure why the law was written that way, I don’t live in Minnesota but after reading the story, I looked at what laws they claim were broken. The definition of BB Gun from their law:
(a) “BB gun” means a device that fires or ejects a shot measuring .18 of an inch or less in diameter.

it is illegal to transport a loaded firearm, unless it is a handgun and you are covered by your state law, Constitutional carry, CC license/permit, or otherwise lawful.

Some are, but most firearm laws are to punish law-abiding citizens.

I didn’t read anywhere in the article that he was a criminal. The only listed charge relates to the BB gun. This is why you NEVER consent to a search of your vehicle. If they have probable cause to search it, they can apply for a warrant.

He was in the act of removing a Catalytic Converter from a vehicle when the officer rolled up, he and his buddy then jumped in their vehicle and proceeded to leave the scene which is why the officer pulled them over and searched the vehicle. He was also driving on a suspended license.

The way I see it the only thing you can do is convert the democrats. They sound stupid enough that you could use reverse psychology on them. If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to understand their perspective and let them see your perspective. There is a expression, you can’t fight City Hall.
