MI gun season changed

Southern part of MI (where I live) is a limited firearm zone. That notorious straight walled pistol caliber thing.

Lead story on the news tonight is that zone is gone, shoot what you want in the entire state. Get to finally dust off the 30-06.

Never thought I would see the day, its long over due

so your saying ‘‘No More Shotgun Zone’’

Hmmmmmmm.. interesting

don’t think this is going to end well

its too populated in Se Mi.

unlike up here in the Keweenaw [2 people per square mile]

I use to hunt a private farm just north of Peck and towards the end

it got stupid with others with the attitude of ‘‘if its brown,…its down’’

Yeah im curious on how the high power is gonna work out when they went from shotgun to straight wall pistol, didnt hear of too many issues. We will see.

Its still brown its down here in SW. My old neighbors just sold their property and they would put a trophy 4 point on their wall. Luckily the new neighbor isn’t like that.

When i picked up my newest handgun from the auto store, I asked how rifle sales are with the new ruling. He’s definitely getting in uptick in rifle sales. He said mainly 270win. Kinda surprised me, I figure around here it would be 243 class.

I told him to let me know if he gets in any 400L/450 bolt guns on trade in or consignment at a decent price

It’s a good change. It was a stupid law made by stupid people – just like almost every other gun law.
