Do I have a choice? It’s printed on the currency I am paid in, I have about as much choice in the currency I have to spend as the country I was born in. What did science point out that makes G-d real? And which version of that G-d is that? Every civilization has their own version of a Creator, so which one do I need to pick so I don’t end up in some fiery pit of hell because I made the wrong choice on a whim. I personally like the Islamic version of sky daddy, even though I don’t believe in him if I die doing a good deed like saving someone, I go straight to heaven. Unlike the Christian version of Him where I still go to hell. Or the Jewish version where I just die and don’t don’t go anywhere but the ground.

Love the way you think, anyways I have a complex relationship with G-d, I recognize the importance and teachings of many of the religious texts on how we should treat one another. However I feel the real G-d is the absolute creator of Universe and everything we see and experience, yet although they are Omnipresent they have no power to change what is already in motion. G-d for me is a lot like the laws of physics or the laws of gravity. What you see is an absolute and They cannot change it. However what also cannot be changed is the foundation of who we are and how we should treat one another. I highly doubt the entity that set everything in motion which created us today thought about the Golden Rule however we have evolved and survived because we adopted the Golden Rule.
