Brings to mind a pictorial article in Life magazine from the '60s. In one frame a line of babushkas all the way down a grey stone alleyway, waiting their turn to go through a small doorway into a Soviet store. The photos of the inside showed mostly bare shelves and only a few items here and there packaged in the same color and design of wrapping. “Spassiba tovarich.”

I live on Oregon, I don’t worry about what happens in New York City or anywhere else other than Oregon. What happens in other states might as well be foreign countries because it has zero impact on my life.

End of the day if we can keep all religions out of Government the safer we are. We are not far off from Christo-Fascism. Mixing religion with Government is like mixing ice-cream with manure, it doesn’t do anything to the manure but it certainly ruins the ice-cream.

It’s not unfeasible, just need to prevent the current majority from implementing their will which is in opposition to the 1st Amendment. If you are going to allow Christians to push their agenda in Government today, you will be letting Muslims push theirs tomorrow.
