Brother, I have no idea how you can do 850 miles in a day, but hats off to you. I’ve driven quite a lot for work over the years (a lot) and could do 500 mile days in the past, but age and fibromyalgia have limited me to about 300 before I can’t even stand up straight anymore and the pain just gets too much.
Take good care bro. Driving isn’t good for thr body.
It was a one off I guarantee you. First run was to VAUGN,NM (137 MI) SO THAT WAS 274 already. The ‘mess’ came on the second run to VAUGN (Again) but I was ‘Dog Catcher’ that run I had to chase down a train to exchange crews and the idiot Conductor wouldn’t stop. So another short run (4-5 hours) ended @ literally 00:30! (too many boring details but it was frustrating,) and I had a flat tire --we run on 'run flats but it was worrying to say the least.i wound up @ the Lee Ranch Coal mines north of Grants, NM!
It 'll take days to recover.
For a Minute I pulled into an Allsup’s Gas station and considered calling dispatch and said I had a flat and need a new driver to continue the run. There were a few of us nearby to do it not like sending a driver from our Base to get there.
But I couldn’t do it. I complete the job.
‘I know the last couple of posts haven’t been about that Socialist Jerk off but I wanted to complete the thoughts, Thanks for our attention to this matter’
"STAY THE COURSE’ (Mel Gibson–The Patriot) That’s how I roll too
I guess you have a very short memory or at least an incomplete understanding of what constitutes Socialism especially as it concerns public partnership with private businesses. The United States Government on numerous occasions has taken partial ownership of a private company.
It really does appear that you act in bad faith. Many of your positions seem to repeat whatever propaganda left wing media outlets are trying to peddle as their next fear mongering diatribe (#No Kings amirite?) That even a cursory amount of research would show that the U.S. Government practice of delving into the private sector has happened quite frequently. Yet here we are a thriving Constitutional Republic.
Here’s a partial list of private businesses that the Government has had ownership equity in, just in the last 20 years:
Chrysler, General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P.Morgan Chase & Co, Bank of America Corp, Citigroup Inc, Wells Fargo & Co, Bank of New York Mellon, State Street Corp, Merrill Lynch. That’s not even close to an exhaustive list. But I am pretty sure you get the picture.
I do find it funny though that it’s Socialism if President Trump does it, while it’s something else if former President Obama or former President Clinton does it even Puddin Pants Biden.
We are losing good (long standing) Members and Gunners because trying to ‘Convince’ these people to come over to our side (or @ the very least —Listen to REASON AND COMMON SENSE’ while they Piss Off our people till they leave or the get the Moderator’s to do their job for them. If we continue to have a one sided dialogue with these folk’s who will be the next valuable Member to leave.
LIKE THIS COUNTRY, WE HAVE LOST SO MUCH ALREADY! Loses like Enzo, William191 we can Ill afford.
They have every right to be here it says so in the Constitution, but when they CONTINUE to DISRUPT and Anger the People we hold dear it is time to IGNORE.
THEY AREN’T LISTENING TO YOU!
This is like the Demoncrats SHOUTING WE ARE A DEMOCRACY!
WE AREN’T A DEMOCRACY! WE ARE A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!
These ‘people’ care NOTHING for you or your views they just wish to stir the pot of dissention and drive wedges between us (Just like the Demoncrats!)
I think we should keep politics out of it unless it has something to do with being a responsibly armed American. Politics, religion, sexual orientation, race, and our personal lives, have nothing to do with being responsibly armed and saving lives.
Seriously? You Seriously have no idea? Wow, just Wow. I am struggling to understand how you have zero idea that the US took partial ownership of Intel under Trump.
