Yeah, I have those as well… I actually because of my wife carry two extra pairs of underwear, socks, t-shirts, pants, jackets and gloves. If any one has had kids you know that is always a good idea to have extra!!

I have two tactical bags/large backpacks in my trunk. A small ammo case…then other miscellaneous things scattered throughout the car. Glovebox, under spare tire cover, and under front seats.

A couple more items I have. A 2’x2’x1” thick plywood square and section of old carpet. These can help in putting under a tire when you are stuck in soft sand or mud to give you a little traction to get moving. They can also be put under a car jack to keep it from sinking into soft ground if you get a flat and have to pull off the road to change a tire.

Each of our POVs has a GHB (72 hours+ H2O, food and H2O, shelter, FAK, etc), handgun and spare ammo/mags, and an AR15 pistol and ammo/mags.

Please do not forget getting to know the area in which you drive very well so as to not be so dependent on GPS, which is a distraction big time. Also, knowing geography and topology is good for the mind.
