I came across this on Yay-hoo this morning. The way the MSM sensationalizes this stuff really makes me want to vomit. I put the link below so you can read how it’s worded. “Potential Illegal Grow Turns Into Much More”, “Underground Bunker Used To Store Weapons”, “Alarming Cache of Illegal Firearms and Ammunition…Threat To Public Safety”, etc. Insert HUGE eyeroll! If the second picture shows close to what they confiscated then even McGruff The Crime Dog would horse-laugh because this is not what one would call “taking a bite out of crime”. How many people who read this fell out on the floor laughing at the “haul”. Cache of weapons? 10,000 rounds of ammunition? LOL! I can hear it now - “LMAO! hold my beer!”. For some people that’s little more than a bug out load. If this is all CHiPs has to do then Ponch & John need to be out on the interstate writing speeding tickets for some real criminal

Most of my buddies who shot buy ammo when we go to the range and stock zero or close to it. I suspect that is normal. We’re skewed on this forum, partly because we have each other.

I just remember too many ammo shortages over the years. A gun without ammo is totally useless, and I can remember times in the past when I didn’t keep a significant stock on hand. I wanted to go shooting and, literally, couldn’t buy ammo for some guns. Remember the great shortage in 2012? You couldn’t buy .22LR at any price. For me, I try to keep a decent stock on hand for every caliber, then buy new ammo when I go shooting, so I don’t have to dip into my reserves.

Not anywhere in the real United States brother. Just normal, everyday guns “in common use” with what appear to be standard capacity magazines.
I’m willing to bet the owner of those guns had never committed a crime with any of them, and I’m also willing to bet there are a dozen or hundred unsolved murders Ponch and John could have been working on.
