Kenosha shooting

Wow, he feels sorry for the criminals that attacked Mr. Rittenhouse and the criminal with a knife that would not heed LE commands? Wow…

Will he be seeking justice for all those impacted by the rioting, looting and arson?

Not a word on reparations for the citizen victims. We will be doing our best to remove him next year. :us:

Excellent speach. Thanks for exposing himself and his loyalties. When is he due for re-election?

Nor any concern for Kyle who was also traumatized. First by the criminals (not “victims” as many in MSM are calling them – I know they want them to be victims to fuel their narrative) who attacked him, and then by the media and others who excoriated him, and then finally by a malicious prosecutor who wanted his “big day” in the realm of social justice.

Kyle, I would imagine, will need at least some degree of counseling to effectively deal with the post traumatic stress he’s going to have.

No therapy more effective than seeing the 1st $million from defamation suits he will file

I wonder if all the places calling him a white supremacist (starting with Biden’s campaign) are scrubbing all their websites right now.

Can anyone explain why protesters against the verdict in NYC march under Palestinian flags?

They may be Palestinian. (I doubt it) More then likely to show solidarity with the mythical Palestinian State.

Rittenhouse wasn’t a state actor, so civil rights charges should be a nonstarter. No racial elements, so no hate crime. Only thing I know of is the purchase arrangement for the rifle. I tried reading the federal law that somewhere covers straw purchases to see whether it could stick to Rittenhouse, the funder of the purchase, and whether the arrangement they had (the purchaser kept the gun for Rittenhouse) might sidestep anything, but it’s too long and convoluted for me to bother with.

All I have to say is this: RITTENHOUSE…NOT GUILTY!!! AIN’T GOD GOOD??? God bless those jurors.

It wasn’t a straw purchase, his friend loaned it to him, you can do that in WI, he returned the rifle before he went home.

“Kyle did not carry a gun across state lines,” Lin Wood said in a tweet. “The gun belonged to his friend, a Wisconsin resident. The gun never left the State of Wisconsin. Truth always prevails.”

Federal civil rights violations are not confined to government officials, and the racial elements may not need to be part of the evening in question.

Some examples…

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241 - Conspiracy Against Rights

This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same).

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 242 - Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law

This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S. […] This definition includes, in addition to law enforcement officials, individuals such as Mayors, Council persons, Judges, Nursing Home Proprietors, Security Guards, etc., persons who are bound by laws, statutes ordinances, or customs.

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 245 - Federally Protected Activities

[This one gets more complicated, but seems to address “protected class” violations by prohibiting “interference by force or threat of force against any person because he/she is or has been…lawfully aiding or encouraging other persons to participate in any of the benefits or activities listed…without discrimination as to race, color, religion, or national origin.”]

But interpretation of these matters is well above my pay grade. I only get to vote and pay for those who do.

If anything, these statutes would argue for Kyle Rittenhouse being the one deprived of his civil rights. Maybe that’s what the purported investigation is intended to uncover (but I doubt it).

It has been my understanding that the rifle was purchased with Mr Rittenhouse’s funds, at Mr Rittenhouse’s request, described by him to others as his purchase of his gun, and which he obtained at his discretion for his pleasure. That’s what a straw purchase is, but perhaps some part of my understanding of the arrangement is not correct.

I mean… these should definitely make all gun control activities illegal. Not just the ATF, but any and all organized anti-gun rights marketing, “education” or policies such as those that zone out gun ranges from entire cities.
