Our Congress, asleep at the wheel as usual.
Back in the days when the Constitution meant something, “rules” such as these would come in the form of legislation from the Legislative Branch. Congress has abdicated this responsibility and allowed unelected bureaucrats run roughshod. Lenin and Stalin must be looking up from the fires of Hades and smiling: the IRS punishing dissent; the FBI falsely targeting a sitting president; censorship; a media apparatus at the beck and call of their political masters; and Constitutional rights stripped by a faceless apparatchik. It’s all so Soviet.
