I have all of my mags loaded. I have several marked that i use for target shooting and then my EDC. MY AR’s all have loaded mags in the safe.

Unless my mags are NIB (some 30rd AR mags), all are loaded.

Every single magazine in your home or car or on your body should be fully loaded at all times (anti-gunner evil doers can strike and do strike at any moment and at any place).
Of the hundred or more magazines I have for various firearms 25% are loaded with self defense and the rest with ball ammo.
I do recommend that you rotate your ammo especially your carry ammo, and every now and then put some self defense ammo through your carry piece.
All my magazines are discreetly marked so at a glance I know what is in any of my firearms at any given time. IE: Blue for ball, Red your dead!
