Absolutely!! As much as I appreciate living in a free state, Florida still has some really stupid gun laws. I can’t attend a baseball/football/hockey game here armed. I can’t attend a music festival or concert armed. Stadiums and concert venues are almost always in urban areas, at night, with parking sometimes blocks from the venue. That means all the attendees, who have enough money to afford expensive tickets and a night out, are all walking back to their cars in dark city parking lots, at night, unarmed, in an area they’re probably not too familiar with.

I have all but given up attending any events that will not allow me to be armed with some exceptions usually forced on me by wife and family. It doesn’t;t matter live sporting events look WAY better on my 85" tv, the seats are way more comfortable and I get much higher quality food at a small fraction of the cost of going to a stadium and all I have to do is pay my monthly streaming services bill.
In any case, even if I do not have a gun there are DOZENS of other weapons that pass scrutiny even at those events and I always have 3-5 surprises on me wherever I go. The only difference is I’ll be running away from a “gun problem” rather than confronting it armed, but that is OTHER people problems.
