Honor the fallen-America to boycott the NFL

Oh my gosh…I followed Vince Lombardi! I was at a school and received some coaching from Jerry Kramer. Jerry is also from my home state of MT. Jerry and his children, grandkids, etc. have a ranch south of Boise, Id. I visited with him years ago, and have lost touch.

Yes Mens’ Soccer… Real Salt Lake and the Sounders!!

Anyone remember the Petrino brothers? I think they were in Atlanta for a time. Their father was a long time coach here at Carroll College, and I went to school with both of them. I have my personal opinions…

@SKIdaho - yeah, I started following the Packers as soon as I could understand football. My father had season tickets to the games in Milwaukee starting with the 1962-63 season. I think my brother still has those tickets.

My family knows I won’t watch the NFL or any sports that panders to social justice causes. We watch Hockey because each of those players has more respect for our country than most other sports combined and they’re paid less than any of them. Maybe that’s the problem…the others are overpaid and need pay cuts for choosing to be political at their work.

My son thinks I’m stupid. But he don’t know. I haven’t watched football since Colin Kaepernick. I won’t.

The letter has some foul language and angry rhetoric, but it circles back to the fact that we have freedom of speech, but that doesn’t mean we have to agree with someone else. I am going to tag it with a language warning, but it can stay.

Me as well. Personally, I won’t be watching either…

I disapprove of kneeling during the National Anthem and any form of disrespect toward our country’s symbolisms.

I watch sports for entertainment and entertainment only. We watch sports as a distraction and/or escape from the daily grind of life. Be it the NFL, NBA, MLB and so on, It doesn’t matter.

I am done with sports as a whole. In fact, I killed cable about three weeks ago. I even went a step further and have no local channels as well. Every outlet has become one sided, argumentative, and divisive. I’m over it all!

@Dawn @OldGnome Same here! Born, raised and bled Green and Gold all my life. The same can be said about the Brewer and Bucks. I am beyond the foolery and can’t come to term to follow, watch or support.

Pro-sports teams will have to earn my viewership back. I’m done!

I will always STAND for the national anthem.

Hey athletes, here’s a thought: If you want to make our country better, how about showing up with your feet?! Volunteer your time! Donate your money to causes that make a P O S I T I V E difference in America and around the world. Run for office. Do SOMETHING constructive and stop being a lazy wimp-a$$ by taking a knee.

Rant over! Thanks for letting me vent.

Beautiful and impactful film.

As to my house, we won’t watch a bunch of overpaid children disrespect the nation my father and forefathers fought to preserve. The flag of the USA represents the nation, and all who sacrificed for her.

If you won’t stand and put your right hand over your heart, you’re dead to me. If you are in ANY uniform, you salute, or you’re dead to me.

My dad and uncle, along with 2 of their friends, were at the Ice Bowl. We always had the game on. Not since Kaepernick! Now, I will go for a cycle ride or to the range on a Sunday.

Not too long ago, Aaron Rodgers commented (rather ignorantly) on how LEO’s should be much better. Maybe he could take one of his off nights and do a ride-along with one of Green Bay’s finest and see just what they have to put up with on a daily basis. Or, maybe try Milwaukee’s north side one night! Be part of the solution, it’s better than sniping from the sidelines.

Did anyone see that the NFL opener was down 16% in viewership from last year (which was down considerably from the year before)?

Free speech allows us to disagree with each other.

My wife and I exercise our rights by not watching NBA and NFL games—it’s temporary until the political climate cools down and sports go back to entertainment again.

Athletes can protest.
Fans like me can counter-protest by not watching the games.

I refuse to support the NFL, MLB or NBA anymore. Organizations that support a domestic terrorist group like BLM can go pound salt. Neither of these leagues deserve my support or hard earned dollars anymore. They have lost their way…
