Here’s my .45 totally loaded lol

Check this thing out with one of the two 17 rd PRO MAGS I have for it. If I have a gun that takes magazines I get plenty of them lol

Looks like an easy one to conceal so that nobody will know you are carrying, lol

Friends don’t let friends use promags.

They often turn out to be good for practicing malfunction clearing drills at the range:) Though a few people seem to luck out and get one or two that mostly work. At least for a little while. They seem to have a decades long reputation for very poor quality control.

I actually got two for a new pistol a couple of years ago when all the manufacture’s mags where sold out and back ordered for months. They are obviously built to a significantly lower standard than the OEM mag that came with the pistol. Unfortunately my two don’t reliably fail to feed so they aren’t even good for failure to feed drills:( I can use them at the range but would never trust them for use in a self defense situation.

They were there and I had the money in my pocket and I bought them, a unfortunet habit of mine . I did use one at the range near here and it worked best as I remember, but if I’m using it and it stops working it will be found in the nearest trash can lol

Test it thoroughly promag has a pretty universal reputation

Even then I’d recommend never using a promag for self defense. But that’s just me

I agree with range use only. I have one that works in my 9mm’s. The one I tried in an AR caused an immediate double feed. Then while removing the mess it self destructed in my hand. Literally gutted itself. :rage:

lol Actually I bot some of these Chinese mage for AR and they are fantastic! Better than Magpull, I’m goin upstairs in a few and I’ll take a cpl pics of them. In the meantime here’s a pic I took of my Savage Axis when they first came out in .223 , it’s so early it don’t have the adj trigger, been shot once I think

I’m big on Savage, my grandpa was 100% Cherokee and he hunted for all his food and he used Savages only and I’ve got a old Savage shotgun from him. When he lived on the reservation when he was young they had to eat dogs and cats and rats you name it but he would only talk about it to his wife, his dad was a bastard and he left when he was 14 and was on his own. He has a twin brother who he has no idea what happened to him. A wild and sad story

Wilson Combat has 10rd mags for .45acp 1911s. I’ve got two and haven’t had any issues with them. That’s the difference between concealed carry and home defense. At home, I can use a full size 1911 with 10rd mags.

I got a couple Wilson’s but I think they are 7 rd ones, One is in pic of it in the case plus the 8 rd one it came with . Here’s those South Korean mags I have and they work perfectly I thought they were Chinese but are S Korean. I picked them up at a Rural King and that’s where the 1911 came from to as a matter of fact

. They are window mags to

IMO the KCI magazines are the only cheap brand knock-off feeling/priced mags that seem to generally be decent

They are Ok , What I do is press the follower down as far as I can with my fingers and if it feels pretty smooth I will get a couple of them IDK how accurate that is but that’s what I do, now the ones with the punnisher skull and stuff on them I got on line cause I thought they looked cool but don’t know how they work

In Illinois only the gangs can own magazines like that.

I have several KCI mags for Glock pistols that are well over a decade old now. They aren’t built quite as well as the Glock mags and I only use them for the range but they are still functioning perfectly well even though they have hit the ground more times than I can count and the springs have gotten a little on the mushy side from the number of cycles they have gone through.

This is precisely why I use Wilson Combat mags for the sidearms WC makes them for.
Yeah, they cost a little more but what price does one give for reliability and parts availability?
Easy to buy, easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble.
And unlike some mfgr mags and other brands, THEY WORK!
