Welcome Steve.
Try “Church security” in the search bar. Might be useful.
Good luck.
Talk to the FBI, they have a training program for church security programs.

@Steve429 Welcome to the community!
Welcome to the family brother @Steve429 and we are glad you are with us. I believe your church may already have an SOP in place. Consult with your pastors as far as being armed is concerned. You do need insurance if they are armed.
@Steve429 Steve, I am a Safety team Lead for my church in Maryland. I have no background in law enforcement or security. I started with this book for church security directors.
This will get you started in standing up a program in your church.
Full Armor Church has training packages (firearms included) and templates for various administrative needs. Full Armor Church Safety and Security Training
You may want to consider joining the Faith Based Security Network (fbsnamerica.com) This is a national consortium of past and present LEOs and First responders along with ‘average’ guys like us. A wealth of information on best practices.
This is a firehose of information, but you should tailor all of this to your church needs and culture.
Blessings,
