A little off topic, but stick with me.
I was enjoying happy hour at a neighborâs house last night. The group included an off duty Sheriff Iâve known for a couple years now. Colion mentioned warning shots. The Sheriff and I were discussing home self-defense plans. I shared my 4-legged alarm system usually gives enough early warning for me to not only grab my bedside pistol, but to most likely get to the 300Blk with a 20 round magazine and a spare staged with it. He surprised me with this comment âyouâll only need two, one for the warning shot and the 2nd if the warning doesnât scare them awayâ My response, âwarning shots are not part of my planâ
I think it is a case of the Angels stepping in (IN COMPTON COMMIEFORNIA OF ALL PLACES!) That she A) May not be CHARGED! and B) Not be Charged for firing a warning shot. Miracles still do happen huh?
Like Gary_H NO Warning shots in my Battle plan.
The only reason I would even consider a warning shot would be to confirm my ammo is still good. (Tongue in cheek, sort ofâŠ)
What is this âwarning shotâ everyone speaks of?
I think thatâs when you shout âINCOMINGâ and the round takes their head off!.. WHAT? ![]()
Warning shot? Lmao!
Warning shot?
If itâs a lethal force encounter itâs time to use lethal force to stop the threat.
Hi. Iâd like to chime in please.
If itâs in my home, itâs a lethal force situation. They ainât going to hear the first shot.
