Her birth certificate says she’s Caucasian and neither of her parents are listed as Negro on her birth certificate which is what the designation for people of color was at the time in the 1960’s. She was interviewed numerous times by Asian Indian reporters and TV hosts and claimed to be Indian each time. How can you not be listed as something on your birth certificate, claim to be something else numerous times but be something else that you’ve never claimed before until it was convenient for campaigning and enticing votes? I think we need a bigger billboard for that. It’s a huge election year problem. Middle American voters just want to live their lives, they don’t want to fight the culture wars. They have the attention span of a goldfish. So when a candidate flubs an opportunity and hands the opposition a gift like this, it hurts. I firmly believe the Red Wave that was supposed to wipe out all of the opposition gains became the red trickle for exactly this reason.

My point was, the “official” economic data and story being told by this administration does not line up with what I see in daily business, therefore I don’t trust the data. It is either incomplete, accidentally inaccurate, or intentionally misleading. I’m not here to say which, just the fact that this “great economy” doesn’t align with the people I work with, who actually ARE the economy.
So, with that, I don’t trust that the US is so much better off than the rest of the developed eeconomic world. I haven’t traveled overseas in several years, and I don’t engage in international business anymore, so I can’t say how they’re doing. Unless you do travel the world engaging in international business, all you’re doing is parroting a line you’ve been told, not what you know to be true.
I think you have this exactly backward. TRUMP is campaiging on Kamala NOT being black (or not black enough). Kamala is not campaiging on being black. He’s doing this because he had hopes of attacting a larger black vote, but that hope is dwindling now that Kamala is the candidate.
You’re not wrong. I think that many conflate economy and inflation. Some numbers look okay (if you forget that many are filling those new jobs over the last three years as additional jobs to buy food) and ignore that nearly everything costs nearly double. If you’re in the stock market (this week aside) you’ve made a killing. If you life hand to mouth, you’ve been nearly dead for three years.
It is my hope that the only black votes Trump needs are in the areas most destroyed by the blue antics. And those people can’t be dumb enough to vote on faith and hope…again, can they?

Trump has called Harris out on her shotty record of locking up men of color for minor marijuana violations, putting innocent people in prison, her open border policy of allowing millions of illegals into the country, and bailing criminals involved in the democratic George Soros funded riots in Minnesota out of jail. Calling people out on their socialist policies does not equate to campaigning on. But go ahead and pretend Trump is the one trying to attract “black” votes on Harris’ ethnicity and not Harris as she stands in front of Asian Indian audiences and claims to be them, then stands in front of American audiences of color and claims to be them, while her birth certificate lists her Caucasian.

Then you need to look at the party that is trying to help the middle class and lower wage earners - supportive of unions, family medical leave, minimim wage, giving more power to the FTC to break up monopolies to encourage competition and limit price gouging, lowering the cost of medicine, US infrastructure spending, domestic electronic chip and battery production, etc.

The Biden Administration has consistently misled, lied, and distorted the truth about the economy. They release misleading job and economic figures to gaslight everyone, and then have to go back and restate the actual numbers later.

So to win, Trump has got to and I mean absolutely has to be the version of himself that we saw at the 2024 RNC. He unified all of us for a brief shining moment that we could come together in spite of it all. That’s who he needs to be, that’s who we need him to be. We need him. I don’t think we survive for 4 more years.
