Sorry to hear about your friend.
A friend of mine was over about a month ago. He said someone in his circle had passed away that week. Day after the booster. Guy was in his late 30’s and otherwise healthy.

I have never, not even once, met a Marine who couldn’t tell me his favorite flavor of crayon. It’s among the things I love about the Marines. They’re very serious about their profession, they’re instilled with a great pride in the Corps, and they have a great sense of (often morbid) humor.
