Once the 2011 patent was released there are plenty options, sometimes better than Staccato.
Itās questionable when we think about SD handgun, but range shooter or competitionā¦ Staccato is not a first choice anymore and itās overpriced.

The āhitchā he was talking about is probably the disconnector spring is set too tight on the one he is testing. Reducing the disconnector tension should also bring the trigger pull weight down as well.

Loose trigger?
It just became a $500 gun at that point
Setting the trigger up in 2011 is super easy and can be done without any tools.
Adjusting leaf spring you can adjust trigger pull and make it breaks crisply.
Thatās why you have to pay at least $1,000.00 for 2011 handgun

I would like to see how these are built and fitted.
Sounds like they need some more time/effort in making it a better pistol.
Girsan is a decent Turkish Company.
I like their 1911 pistols. Even these are not perfect, they always work. Itās like RIA 1911.
Also their Beretta 92 clone was a good product.
Iām not sure about their 2311. It is not listed on Girsan Turhish website.. meaning this model might be manufactured in USA only.
ā2011ā models require precision and good quality control. Thatās how Staccato made a big money.
These days there are good ā2011ā models made by others, but also a lot of cheapo stuff, which doesnāt work as good and reliably as this model was designed.
Good example was SA Prodigy announced too fast, before made it a good handgun.
There are no shortcuts producing good 2011ā¦ you can do a lot cheap components for 1911 and your pistol will still be OK, but it doesnāt work for 2011 design.
But I like the fact that more and more Companies are making their versions of 2011 design. This keeps this business more competitive and we, the end users, have more options we can choose from.
