Even his handguns never been my favourite his work made a big improvements in firearm’s industry.

He’s a lesser version of Browning but I imagine Glocks would stand the test of time like the 1911.
Interesting, to me at least, that Glock started as a maker of curtain rods and not guns.
Definitely made contributions to the firearm industry that will hold the test of time. Their advanced synthetic polymer frames and the nDLC metal finish are worth noting.
John Browning was a gunsmith first and foremost. Gaston Glock was a chemist first! Glock wasn’t the 1st who introduced polymer frames, HK was, and Glock beat that beast of a company.
