My initial reaction upon reading the headline was,
sad news for self-defense community.
Wow!!! Gotta love the gofundme page.
The person wanting money to create a proper memorial for a “wonderful mother” should more accurately describe her as a “wonderful mother that died committing an armed robbery”. The problem is that’s too many words to put on a t-shirt.
Taking another person’s life will never be something to be proud of or something to be celebrated. Instead, one should be at peace with the fact that they were able to survive a violent encounter.
“Love toward oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality. Therefore it is legitimate to insist on respect for one’s own right to life. Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow.”
Stay safe out there.
The friend who started the go fund me page needs to choose her friends wisely.
This is why I always say God don’t like ugly.
Not good that someone died at all, however good that it wasn’t a victim of crime shot with their own gun while trying to defend themselves. If it were a victim, we would be forever hearing that if you have a gun for protection, it will be used against you. It is bad enough now without news stories to back it up.
“He is a good boy”, nothing new.
GoFundMe will cancel her page. Will it not ? /sarcasm
Reading GoFundMe entertains me especially if I have background information.
