Just wait… hope he didn’t give obiden or knee pads any ideas. I can hear it now… “We are declaring Marshall Law and we’ll be around to gather your guns”. This one should get to SCOTUS ASAP. Like the so called guv in New Mexico tried the same thing, this cop will get shut down NOW. More of this sh1t to come I am sure.

City Ordinance 1297 vs. Florida’s powerful preemption statute

But take very careful notice, they DO WORK OUTSIDE THEIR POWERS!
All over the country they continue to exhibit totalitarian behavior!
The epitome of “never let a crisis go to waste”.
And exactly who is going to arrest him
In addition, if my sources are correct, the Florida constitution has more say over what he can do in his city, I think it’s called preemption laws!
We shouldn’t need the courts, these laws have already been established.
But I have no doubt, we will see Martial law for the coming election!

As soon as Governor Desantis is finished with the current disaster, he will, fire this Chief! But while the Governor is busy, this fool will throw a much sh1t on the wall as he can!

I hope DeSantis makes a public shaming of him and has him arrested by FDLE officers.

if I lived closer. I would purposely carry a gun and dare the officer to arrest me. then I would sue the sh!t out of him and the department. but, alas I live 600+ miles away and it would take me several days.

Not sure he’s elected like county sheriff. Local appointee, most likely.

Firearms Policy Coalition has reached out about the rogue anti-2A order in Florida this weekend.

They have spoken with someone in the Governor’s admin and were told that the Sheriff was immediately instructed to rescind the order the moment the Gov office was aware of the order.

Everyone will support @flgovrondesantis admin’s efforts to repeal this statute.

" Florida Carry, Inc., sent a letter to the Okeechobee city council and Chief Hagan Saturday, warning the recipients they have violated Florida’s powerful preemption statute, which only allows the state legislature to regulate firearms. Any public official who violates the preemption statute can be removed from office and fined up to $5,000, which the statute requires them to pay personally."

In addition, Florida Carry has:
“also demanded the payment of $30,000 in damages and attorneys’ fees to “resolve this matter prior to initiation of litigation.””

Fire that man, period.

Nah, strip his badge, blackball him from service as an officer.

Hit him with the fines applicable to his transgression.

Firing “at” him serves no purpose in our efforts to keep our 2nd amendment rights protected

The sheriff is Noel Stephen, an elected official.

I have a few other distasteful things I deleted before posting. Trust me, I’m not too far off of that sentiment, but it’s simply not wise to post things without at least some forethought.

But seriously? At a time when the survivors have little else, he try’s to strip them of their ability to defend themselves? (Wild animals are displaced by this too, and will come in contact with humans, not to mention looters and Biden/ Harris good friends who are looking for an opportunity to prove how good of citizens they are)

this is a prime case for why qualified immunity should be done away with. rules for thee not me! this type of over reach needs to stop and those who do such things should be sued and made to pay!!
