I decided to try “Miracle Oxy-Colon 2 Day Colon Cleanser and Detox” after reading some of the claims and reviews. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations.
I followed the directions as instructed, but I didn’t notice any significant difference or benefits. The results were far less than advertised, and overall I felt like it was a waste of money. Im curious if anyone else has had a similar experience or if it worked differently for them.
Your goal or purpose? Current unwanted signs, symptoms? Not sure there’s any quick one time fix. Seeing a GI doctor now, they suggest consistent forever diet of “healthy diet, yogurts, plenty of veges, especially green leafy, fruits, little to no caffeine”.
ie Activia yogurt, Benefiber or Metamucil supplements: (some even come in non flavor, so you can put some in any beverage. As gross s it sounds, the formation of stool reflects colon health, reflects gut health.
Get regular colonoscopies, see your GP, establish good patient relationship with a GI doc, vigorous exercise, lots of walking could be best. I’m just wary about solutions coming in a bottle like that.
Actor Chadwick Boseman died in 2020 at age 43, from colon cancer. My GI doc saved my life.
I am not a fan of miracle cleanses, I generally do a 30 day cleanse once a year, this is where I only eat vegetarian, whole foods, cooked myself, low sodium and no added sugar and don’t drink alcohol, coffee or use any kind of mind altering substances. Purpose of the cleanse is to see if there is anything after 30 days I can do without. Unfortunately meat, alcohol, coffee and weed always go back into rotation. Although lately I have been drastically cutting back on my chicken, fish, pork and beef purchases, only way I can keep my food budget from cutting into my ammo budget.
I heard that stuff causes butt cancer in California, not the eye cancer you were bitchin’ about a few weeks back with those polycarbonate safety glasses.
At least Reddit has areas you know are going to be hilarious.
Thanks, now ya’ got me seeing it . To top it off, it’s Friday and the glampground next to me just started their Friday night entertainment, and the singer sounds like he’s got “blockage.” Hope he comes around by the time they all start singing “country roads.”
I read a book my wife got decades ago regarding proper food combination. Gist of it was to start your day with fruit. As I recall, fruit on an empty stomach draws the toxins out of the intestines and evacuates them promptly. Fruit on a full stomach sits there, digests and makes gas. I’ll probably never give up coffee, I buy organic beans 30 pounds at a time and brew them through a gold plated filter, but have started back on the orange, banana or two, and an apple as my first meal. @Papa_Zed , my habits were similar, but I gave up alcohol surprisingly easily about 30 years ago after being a pretty heavy drinker, and quit weed, another surprisingly easy feat after 44 years of smoking, and a desire to change employers, then finding one who appreciated my experience and left me tf alone. Those two habits can get expensive, and even nickels and dimes add up over time.
Fermented vegetables and probiotics naturally occurring in food (not supplements) have the highest chance of being delivered fully into the large intestine. a homemade sauerkraut, beets, kefir, probiotic cultured yogurt. Easy to make.
I think those products might work better for a rifle barrel than for my digestive system. I was actually referring to constipation and colon cleanse products. Unfortunately, this one did not make much of a difference for me. Have you found anything that actually helped with digestive issues or constipation?
