FBI discovers 2,400 new JFK files

According to the article …

Under the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, all government documents about the assassination were to be made publicly available by October 2017. …

Under his previous administration, Mr Trump pledged to unseal the remaining 15,000 documents containing redactions but was then allegedly persuaded out of doing so by Mike Pompeo, his CIA director.

Joe Biden released a tranche of the remaining files under his administration, whittling down the figure to 3,500 outstanding files, but the deadline for their release was pushed back owing to Covid-related delays.

Mr. Trump announced that he would set up a taskforce to release the documents during the election campaign after accepting an endorsement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr, his newly appointed health minister. In 2023, Mr Kennedy, who claims the CIA were directly involved in the assassination of his uncle, launched a petition calling for the Biden administration to release the last of the government’s records to “help to restore” trust in the government.

The missing files newly discovered by the premier US law enforcement/intelligence agencies were probably just innocently “misplaced” behind a copier since 1992, and, you know, COVID would have prevented the FBI from finding and releasing the 2,400 documents. And, really, 33 years (1992 to 2025) is not enough time to find the files. Maybe they shoulda started by looking through the boxes in Joe Biden’s garage or stashed in the Orange man’s Mara-Lago compound or on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

We can be sure that the CIA was not involved in the JFK assassination, and it deserves all the public confidence and trust it deserves.

The swamp is still teaming with life in DC.

You would think 60+ years would have been plenty of time for any of the agencies, politicians and people involved to have found and destroyed all the evidence linking them to the event.

Then again, some relevant files might be stashed in the same dresser drawer where Hunter keeps his powder and his panties. Poor guy…

If Oswald was a disgruntled lone shooter, why would anything in government files about a murder that’s now 62 years old be classified and so secret that it literally takes an act of Congress and Presidental Executive Orders to reveal?

Maybe Oswald was a space alien. :grinning:

The problem for the government is that he apparently had several known connections and interactions with people employed by the CIA for quite some time before the event. I’m sure the CIA would be happy to shift the blame to aliens if they thought they could get away with it.
