LOL, um, yeah. Talk to my relatives and others that I know that were in the services. They are doing quite well, and they are not committing criminal acts.

My son was intel USMC/NSA, then went civilian starting 6 figures working from home. Very good at what he did, became an NCO and trained others..,.and I’ll leave it at that. Best wishes for your son. Cyber is the present and the future. Make sure he gets away and “touches grass” from time to time, as those monitors can suck you in.

I was required to get an IT industry security certification in 2009 when I was working in the DoD IT arena as a contractor. My certification is very outdated by the standards of today, and I am retired, but I still get numerous inquiries weekly for IT security positions all over the country, or even remote work. The salaries mentioned are well over $100k. The demand is real and the jobs exist.
