Another “gift” of the failed open border policy of the Biden-Harris administration.
Recently, 3 days ago it was reported that the TDA Venezuelan gang had resurfaced in the four major cities of Tennessee.
That the TBI Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has alerted its law enforcement partners statewide that this gang has no respect or regard for law enforcement and has a reputation for attacking police, and how to deal with them.
Since then it has also been reported that our Governor Bill Lee has requested support from the Department of Justice and the US Attorney’s Office to help Tennessee address this gang with federal assets and funds.
TDA: Tren de Aragua is a transnational criminal organization from Venezuela. It is believed to have over 5,000 members. Chattanooga Police Department Chief John Chambers said his department has “no evidence to indicate that the gang is actively operating in our city” in a statement posted to social media Monday.
“To date, there have been no confirmed instances or indications of Tren de Aragua’s presence within Chattanooga,” Chambers said in the statement. “Additionally, there are currently no validated members of this gang within our jurisdiction, nor are there any active CPD investigations related to their activities.”
Hamilton County Sheriff Austin Garrett also said his office is not actively investigating the gang or its members, and there are no Tren de Aragua members being held at the county’s jail at this time.

Using Trump’s illegal immigrant accounting methods - he “gifted” us with 2.4 million illegal residents on his watch. Nowhere near the supposed 8 to 11 million on Biden’s watch but still far from a sustainable number of allowable immigration.
I don’t think sending U.S. military troops door to door inside the U.S borders would be an ideal situation. There are significant legal issues with doing so. More importantly U.S. soldiers do not have the training that LEOs have with dealing with due process in a civilian setting.
All it will take is one U.S. citizen being manhandled (or worse) by the military for the Left to say “We told you Trump was Hitler!”.
It would be better to use the military to secure the border and let ICE and other LEOs do the in house cleaning.
An even smarter move would be to pass a law stating that anyone who crosses or has crossed the border illegally will permanently loose all rights to residence, work or future citizenship in the U.S. The law should allow a one year amnesty period for those already here to leave voluntarily. Those that choose to do so can be given free transportation and a small relocation stipend. They would then be put at the top of the list for legal immigration consideration if they meet the proper standards and pass the proper vetting investigations.
This would be way cheaper and more effective than draconian door to door sweeps. Then ICE and LEOs could focus more of their time going after the serious foreign criminals and those who choose not to leave voluntarily.

That is the first denial to TDA being where the TBI’s blanket statement that they were resurfacing in all four major cities in Tennessee. I don’t know why the Chattanooga Chief of Police contradicts the Director of TBI. I would think that they share the same intelligence. Maybe he is under political pressure from the mayor chamber of commerce like Chief Brody was in the movie Jaws for not wanting negative publicity to affect their economy. That or he is ignorant of what is going on if not Turing a Blind Eye to it. Or, TDA is being slower or more covert there. Again, I can only speculate. The TBI is not known for inaccurate information dissemination.

Thanks … The first question that comes to mind … To clarify i am not an esteemed member of law enforcement … So this is from a layman’s point of view … If you are tracking them with radar and cell phones … I am just spitballing here… Maybe use it to pick them up… If you know they are at fault and committed a crime … Lock them up… Lock them up…

Absolutely! A lot of so called criminals forget that they can be tracked by their cellphones.
Some of these nitwits turn their phones off at the scene of the crimes that they commit thinking that they cannot be traced.
Our investigators know of this behavior and look for it, ID the phone turned off, then ping it to find where it got turned back on later and scoop up the “brilliant” criminal mind.
I don’t know if this Venezuelan TDA transnational gang has any technical savvy advisors but, I am thinking even if they do, they may slip up and get snagged.
Cell tower records are routinely consulted to track patterns at or near crime scenes before, during, or after the criminal activity, and often yields fruitful results in tracking the offender’s entire travels to and from the crime scene if not to locate their whereabouts immediately, at least help identify who’s phone was in proximity of the crime, and in short order lead to an arrest, and conviction.

, at least I hope we have something like that that can be implanted without the subjects knowledge so that they don’t get it removed. Something like the ID chips we have in our pets, or RFIDs like in our Passports or bank cards, or Air Tags. Something, especially if not on usual frequencies that criminals scan to steal your information and clone it. Just keep it secret so that the criminals’ organization does not figure out how to detect it and defeat it.
