Wehrner Von Braun did… well, more to a skateboard, when he was 12, but… still. He did totally play in a Wile E. Coyote scale of crazy. So crazy he landed us on the moon and got us back.

I like my M1, but the sights on my M1903 are pretty outstanding. If that’s the comparison I’ll take the '03.

'03 A3 has similar sights to M1 Garand. Older 03’s have the old flip-up tang/ladder thing that my old eyes can’t quite like anymore.
IIRC it was Browning that gave us that M1-style sight… on the BAR, first. LEft drum for elevation, right drum for windage, protected by “ears” back and front.
I didn’t make the meme, but I do love my M1
