I agree this would be pretty difficult to diagnose here, but here goes… This is a Polymer80 PF45 frame, AlphaWolf slide, AlphaWolf barrel, Lone Wolf guide rod assembly “calibrated to Glock factory specifications (17lbs)”, new factory Glock magazine (I only have one currently). I’m not sure what the slide weighs but can try to weight it later.
When I’ve had the going into battery issue, I’ve tried dropping the slide with the slide stop as well as racking the slide itself and definitely not interfering with the forward motion. I am sure that most times I would have inserted the magazine with the slide already locked to the rear, but possibly on some occasions might have inserted the magazine with the slide closed, then brought the slide rearward.
