Weāll, itās obviously not the guys fault, guns are like that, they just go off. Ask Alec Baldwin. Gosh, you guys donāt watch enough news. Itās the guns fault! Have you spoken to your guns lately, they have a mind of their own! They are kinda tired of being blamed for crap they havenāt done!
How do you think Memphis became the new Chicago overnight?
My recommendation is put yourself in condition orange, weāve become enemies of the state!
Anyone in possession of a firearm will be carrying, eyes wide open, head on a swivel! Not just a saying anymore, time to practice what we preach, diligence!
I was actually shocked when I heard about Memphis, and it being considered āMost dangerous city in Americaā.

Thanks for the laugh. I needed that today
Itās a good good thing they got that muzzleloader off the streets. That thing was an assault weapon of war that had no business in the community. How many innocent Red Coats did guns like that kill in the primes of their lives??
Although I have shot historic replica muskets twice at Colonial WIlliamsburg, I admit to being clueless about modern blackpowder firearms. Conveniently, the linked article includes the following paragraph:

The procedure to check a muzzleloader to see if it is loaded is simple. Determine if there is priming in the pan or a cap on the nipple(s) of the muzzleloader. If so, remove the priming and/or the cap(s). Take the ramrod or a similar rod and slide it down the barrel until it stops. Mark that location at the muzzle. Pull the rod out, then slide it along to the barrel to see if there is a load in the chamber. Many rods are marked to indicate how far they will go when the chamber is empty. If the rod goes into the mark, the firearm is unloaded. If it does not, assume the gun has gunpowder and a round in the chamber.
