Dog owners and being responsible

just a quick thing… LEO advise on such can be good… HOWEVER!

that said… suggest you become very aware of who your local DA is and their views on such…

I further suggest always seek the advise of a competent attorney in said area!!!

perhaps we have some here that can be of assistance…

Just merely, one monkey’s humble opinion here…

Avoid it.

Avoid walking into the trap which is already set. Keep on that path you choose, it’s not a matter of if, but when confrontation will happen.

Are there options?:

  • Walk your dogs elsewhere
  • Organize, lobby, petition that those not conducting themselves with best practice change their behavior
  • Relocate

If I lived in the highest violent crime area, I’d try to move; For if not, and I conceal carry, then the odds will reveal themselves. Though for many, moving is not possible or not an easy accomplishment.

Find change. This way, you’d get to remain legally able to conceal carry, enjoy your pet, and have less legal problems. It’s not too late. There’s a happy medium where you can still keep your dignity, and your way of life.

I’m “beside myself” that I couldn’t find a copy of that famous legal case of the man who ended up shooting another when the others’ dogs motioned to attack.
