Daily Pledge of Allegiance in Restaurant

Info. Fallbrook is on the backside of Camp Pendleton. There’s lots of retired Marines, Active Marines, as well as civilian employees who live there. That’s why it’s full of Patriotic Americans! God Bless America!!

I thought what I said was pretty clear. No, there is nothing wrong with saying the Plege or the National Anthem. There are many places where that normally happens. But restaurants is not a normal place. If a patron that was not familair with that restaurant, then that parton would rightfully wonder what’s going on and what they walked into. The American flag and “patriotism” has been hijacked by extremists. If you don’t think that’s true, then you need to get out of your bubble, or I guess that means you’re one of the extremists?

Agree with JimL or you are an extremist.

Yes, I believe in our Constitution and our inalienable rights, which now-a-days is labeled by Leftists as extremist. Label on mf (my friend), label on.

GREAT song (and album), as were most by Pink Floyd.

I used to live in Vista, about 14 miles from Fallbrook. If I’d known, I would have gone there for lunch a time or three. God Bless American Patriots!
And Damn the urchins who can’t handle being proud of their country. If they don’t like it, they can take a long walk off a pier, or a boat or plane out of here, and never come back.

I believe you are directing your post at the wrong person.

JimL: A good number are insurectionists, white supremists or fascist.

I wasn’t directing my message at a person. Just message on my phone. I think @JimL already got the message. Maybe I am shy.:man_shrugging:t3:

Yet it was @Zavier_D’s meme you posted in your reply. That strongly suggests that it was to him that your message was being directed. Maybe more clarity in your writing is necessary to avoid confusion among those that use standard grammar rules to understand others’ writing.

I am more of a numbers guy. Sorry for the confusion.

Numbers and logic go hand-in-hand. Grammar has rules, just like accounting, with similar grey areas. My job involves working with Oracle, Access and Excel. Being able to effectively communicate with programmers, other analysts, management, staff, etc., is also very important.
