Embarrassed to say, before today, I never saw the parade broadcast of our military. Guessing it’s yearly on US Flag day. I noticed it was broadcast on Fox News, only.
I wonder if it’s done similarly yearly, or is it unique to this year only? I’d hope it’s yearly because it’s for “all” of us, always.

This celebration is larger than typical. It marks a milestone, 250 years, for the Army whom without we’d have no nation. It also begins a series of 250th anniversaries which include our nation’s 250th next year.
As to whether other news networks are televising it or not. No idea and not going to comment on why they aren’t, if that’s correct.

Nothing more valuable than those men and women troops. But I got a kick out of the robot soldier walking drone which looked like a green Doberman Pinscher. As the youngn’s say, that was “sick”.

I always make it a point to replace my old flag on Flag Day so not completely unaware. 
However, like you, I didn’t watch the parade until today.

I could be wrong, but aside from smaller celebrations of each branches anniversary, there hasn’t been a military parade in decades.
The 250th anniversary of the army is pretty big, so I totally get the hullabaloo!
I probably should’ve waited for today to replace my flag come to think of it,… thanks @BeanCounter I will make this honor and distinction in the future!
