Jesus said two new commandments I give you: love the lord with all your heart, mind and soul, the second love your neighbor as you love yourself. For all the commandments hang on these two.
If you love your neighbor as yourself, you wonāt steal, covet, commit adulatory, murder what he has. If you love god like that, you wonāt go straying after false gods. I think we are still to follow them only through the law of love.
