AWESOME! Still not interested in reloading, my game is Target Acquisitioning! Not reloading.
I have enough Ammo (for now) to hold off Santa Ana and his Brethren. As said yesterday my ability to scrounge and pick clean the dead has been honed to a fine point.
There is never any shortage of Ammo if you are resourceful and cunning.
If I have to ‘Alamo’ right from the get I can last a very long time on what I have.
Everyone who reloads is aces in my book, just not for me

Black powder truly is. My father in law said his favorite gun for hunting became his 50 cal percussion in his later years. Why? As time went on you could hardly draw for a rifle hunt, however, you could almost always draw for black powder or archery. It got to the point you could only put in for the draw every 3 years. While others waited, he was putting meat in the freezer. He also said if SHTF give him one shot with his black powder and he’d own everything on the target he shot. It is a viable option.

My brother still hints with his .50 muzzleloader. It’s extremely accurate and effective.
