This also shows the value of having a post-event support plan (“self-defense insurance”), whether USCCA or one of the others in that world. It took a year of legal work (lawyers) and a private investigator to get the charges dismissed. That work was not cheap.

Cheap at twice the price considering the alternatives. But I absolutely agree with you. It’s why I have coverage for my daughter, her roommate, my wife, and myself.
