Excellent advice, my friend! It is very important to check the states that you are travelling through and to before you embark on a voyage. Aside from age, there are variations with regard to the locations within the state that you can carry, open/concealed, while in a vehicle, etc etc etc.

To each his/her own. Personally, I’ve not quite decided to carry chambered on pistols, yet. I do vary my EDC from pistol to revolver. But this sad story posted this week pushes me toward un-chambered:
