Canada’s “voluntary” gun buyback

:musical_notes: Think I’ll go out to Alberta
Weather’s good there in the fall
I got some friends that I could go to working for :musical_notes:

Four Strong Winds is one of my all time favorites, long before I learned about Neil Young’s politics, and that Alberta’s in Canada :canada:

I do have a friend in Alberta but I’m not visiting anytime soon.

Hundreds of thousands of Canadians could face prison time if they do not turn in their newly prohibited guns under a supposedly “voluntary” gun buyback program that is testing the strength of Canada’s bureaucratic regime.

Could this happen in the US sooner than we think?

I already participated in a voluntary give back program. Every time I changed units, I turned in my rifle and pistol. It was the govt’s. Gov didnt sell me or give me what I got. Cant sell back to who didnt sell it to me.

They can pound sand when it comes to a buy back program

If their true intentions are to bring down violence, might I suggest a wife buyback program?

Now that’s funny. I still wouldn’t participate, no way in hell I could find another woman that could put up with my crap like she did for 29 years.

That being said, if the money was right…….

Why do they call it “voluntary buy back” when everyone knows its a forced confiscation. Doesn’t fool anyone

Very George Orwell, isn’t it?

All actions are voluntary, some are just more voluntary than others.
