I don’t believe so because your weapon is holstered and if your in an open carry state I wouldn’t consider it brandishing. The same thing with a long arm in a sling if your just carrying it I don’t believe so.

Regarding pistols: In North Carolina, it is my understanding that it is not brandishing as long as the pistol remains in the holster, concealed or visible. If your hand is on the grip of the holstered pistol, it becomes a grey area, and could be perceived as brandishing.
Even though it’s totally legal, I’m not a fan of long guns in confrontational situations. Personal preference. I carry to defend myself and my family, not to send a message to those around me.
