I have (2) 10"x12" 1155 model ceramic Level 4 plates and (2) 6"x6" I believe there are also 1155 model ceramic side plates from RMA Armament. These are the first plates I’ve owned, as for price I bought these as they were the most affordable that I found for me, even tho the 10x12 plates are 8.3 pounds each and the 6x6 side plates listed on the sticker as 2.5 pounds each. I can’t say that I like or dislike any other plates, as I do not have the means to try or test any others, But if I had the means and the chance to I would certainly like to try out others if I could. I’ve been quit happy with the ones that I have from RMA. All I might be able to say is find what works best for what you need with in what is allowed by the laws of your state, I hope the was helpful in some some way.
I’m just thinking about buying some body armor for my personal self I’m a normal everyday Civilian so I wonder about safe life defense vs Spartan armor systems! What is the best choice for concealer and carry that’s concealable any suggestions
I have Spartan 3A vest that I wear all the time. It’s comfortable and conceals well.
I just purchased safe Life defense. Concealable hyperline level 3a to wear under my Tshirt it’s my first time buying a real thin vest
Well I had to return it it was too short and very expensive so I found a Great alternative Spartan armor systems made in USA steel plates with carrier and side panels
I imagine it’s been covered. I noticed some body armor, not sure if all do, but some report they are effective against knife stabs, while others effective but not against some rifle calibers. I found one effective against hand guns and knives, by Safe Life.
