Bill before Congress today, link to support it here!

Another bill before Congress today, a link below to email all Republicans in Congress to support this bill today, being voted on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 :down_arrow:
It works, I just used it!

Dear Frank,

Tuesday may be the best opportunity gun owners have to strike down gun control in years!

The U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means is meeting TOMORROW (TUESDAY) to vote on the “reconciliation bill” – one of the FEW annual bills that can pass with a simple majority vote in the House and Senate.

Whether or not there will be anything in the bill for gun owners to rejoice over is yet to be determined.

At the moment all eyes are on the Republican Speaker Mike Johnson and Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) and whether or not they will remove firearm suppressors from the burdensome regulation of the National Firearms Act, or if they’ll cower to the gun grabbers.

To be honest, deregulating suppressors is the bare minimum this committee should do to protect the Second Amendment with this bill.

They should abolish and defund ALL Biden-era gun control and fully repeal the ENTIRE dreaded National Firearms Act – taxes, registry, and all.

However, at the moment, Capitol Hill is a blaze with rumors that Republican leaders may be trying to gut any pro-gun reforms from this bill, especially critical provisions aimed at deregulating firearm suppressors.

What happens in just a few short hours could decide the fate of the Second Amendment for the remainder of this Congress.

Tuesday’s markup is our chance to bury this anti-gun relic, but it won’t happen without YOUR voice.

Take Action NOW:

Call the House Ways and Means Committee at (202) 225-3625. Firmly and politely tell them to fully deregulate suppressors and gut the NFAthrough reconciliation – accept no compromises, no cop-outs. Be sure to leave a voicemail if the line is busy.

Email EVERY Republican Committee Member’s Office by clicking this link: Tell them to use reconciliation to completely repeal the NFA and deregulate suppressors —no half-measures, no excuses!

Remember, the NFA forces gun owners to register themselves with the federal government in a backdoor gun registry for common firearms and firearm accessories.

It is the radical framework with which Presidents Obama and Biden sought to use to enact a de facto “Assault Weapons” Ban.

And the fact that the NFA’s still being weaponized to bar ownership – not only of scores of legal firearms — but also of simple firearm suppressors designed to protect the hearing of shooters is INSANE.

This era of penalizing and punishing law-abiding gun owners must come to an end.

My staff is working around the clock and will be pacing through the halls of Congress tomorrow, urging Committee members to use this opportunity before us to fully deregulate suppressors and demolish the NFA.

Your phone calls and emails provide the artillery fire backing up their efforts, as staff members know a wrong answer to our gun lobbyists will result in political exposure back home in their districts.

But the clock is ticking.

So please urge Congress to demolish the NFA and deregulate firearms suppressors by:

● Calling the House Ways and Means Committee at (202) 225-3625 and;

Opening your preferred email provider and clicking this link to email EVERY Republican’s Office.

After you’ve taken action, please consider pitching in your most generous contribution to help your National Association for Gun Rights continue piling the pressure on Congress to fully restore the Second Amendment.

For Freedom,

Dudley Brown
President
National Association for Gun Rights

Idiots couldn’t even get suppressors off the NFA registry. Latest I saw is they’re removing the $200 fee, but making sure you still get big brothers approval before you’re allowed to muffle your gun. Still trying to figure out when an accessory became a firearm. Tired of their games, Dudleys multiple times a day emails, and glad I don’t need to care anymore (have I mentioned how much I love WV? lol). “For Freedom” my derriere. It’s a business. “Give us money”, support the lobbyists, payoff the politicians, dangle the freedom carrot every election. I saw former NRA spokesman Chris Cox was one of the opponents to the Hearing Protection Act…
Disclaimer: the above is a rant, hope I’m wrong, but this was the latest I saw last night.

Edit to add…iirc (and I do lol) 8 states don’t allow suppressors, so I’m interested in seeing how this will play out for them…send me $$ and I’ll give you my prediction!!

(I am all for the original 2A, RTK&BAs.

Just that per our U.S. Constitution.

NO other infringements, or state restrictions.

Clean and simple.

What we need is for our U.S. Supreme Court to assert just that by the Supremacy Clause of Constitution.

No other arguments.

Once, and done for all.)

*The gun grabbers have woven a Frankenstein patch quilt of infringements

onto that.*

*If we don’t get a once, and done decision back to the original, it will

take a lot of time, and effort to correct all that has been lumped onto the
2A peace meal, with the resistance of all who infringed on the 2A.*

I for one would like to see a nuclear :radioactive: solution to that.

Like we ended WW-II, end all infringements.)

A traitor to your West. Hey Frank, not sure where in mid TN you are but I go see my buddy Barry54 south of Nashville on occasion and we have a good time. Maybe we can get together sometime.
