Never told anyone to F### off. The only person I said anything remotely close to that was the one being a racist. All I said was how I’m surprised no one wants to challenge these company policies which are unconstitutional. Where you got me telling people to F### off, surprises me. I was actually posting this inititally to see if someone had a specific attorney handle a case or some sort of similar situation and how to handle it. Common ground is this, guns don’t kill people. People kill people. So why do people ban guns? If it was inside the workplace, I understand. But outside in a public parking lot when it’s secured and hidden in my vehicle, now that’s being invasive and stripping me of my own protection getting to work from home. I drive in a city on top of that. We all know how crimes happen. How many times have we seen videos where someone wasn’t supposed to have a gun, but if they didn’t they may have died? I remember the one Domino’s kid who had a firearm and used it to shoot and kill a robber in self defense. He wasn’t supposed to have that gun by company policy, but if he hadn’t, he would be dead. I hope you understand why I posted this now. And I hope you understand I never told anyone to F### off. But I also hope you learned to use your brain before speaking out of your rear end.
Im just going to say the last things government can’t control or regulate private companies polices lol it will be easy to READ UR CONTRACT BEFOR SIGNING so this situation dont happen because i wont let no one tell me what i can do in my company premises or what i can allowed!!! Now u saying public parking but in ur initial post u say ( HR for my workplace said I am not allowed to have any firearm on workplace property including their parking lot ) copy and paste from ur post!!! SOOOOOOO i think u are the one that need to learn how to use ur brain and remember what i say in the first place lol is a lot of good people in this community that really wants to help but they can’t help someone that cant even be honest in the situation or keep their story straight!!! But just remember to use ur brain like u told me lol
Lets put a end to this, we cant carry in private property where is a no gun allowance sings, we cant carry in federal building ( social security office, post office, city hall, etc, etc ) if ur employer told u u cant is simple u cant thats not unconstitutional thats the owner choice and if u sign a paper where it say this company dont allowed gun in or their perimeters u just had to follow, simple like that!!! Im talking in the laws tha apply me here in connecticut but check ur pa laws and if u think any lawyers will challenge that do so but make sure ain’t no retaliation take care and is a uscca app map reciprocity where u can find all the laws from each state
I was not specific enough in my initial posts. I do not recall the company ever telling employees they cannot have a gun in their car. What I remember is in orientation, the trainer saying there are no weapons allowed in the building. My story did not change, but I should have been more specific. I’ve been dealing with a lot of things, so my attention was not fully directed at my initial post. This could have helped if I were more detailed. It was after my wife retaliated against me; I was phone interviewed by HR. They told me this policy and asked me if I was aware. I told them I was honestly not aware, but also answered yes when they asked me if I had a firearm in my vehicle. I could have lied and said no, but I do not condone lies. Nor does God. The parking lot itself from my knowledge is owned by the company. They have a public pickup window that is accessed from the parking lot. That is why it is considered semi-public. I never said public, so please reread. During my tenure with this company, I was never late, no discipline, and won employee of the month. It was never an issue with work performance. My background is also in 911 as a dispatcher, and a former armed security officer which I had to be trained, well screened criminal and psychological doctor interviews, as well as scenario training. One night when working in Baltimore City, we had a person approach us with his guts hanging to his knees and still standing. A sight no one wants to see. And in 911, I’ve taken all sorts of calls, including armed robberies. My point of sharing all this is because an employer has no moral or legal right to restrict citizens from self-preservation. When the constitution was written, it was well established, and many people carried everywhere. Only over the years of these politicians trying to eradicate rights through fear mongering have companies and local government agencies tried to strip us citizens. That is my point. A point so many people fail to understand based on why our founding fathers wrote the, “Bill of Rights.” And if, “We The People” do not fight back (legally, not physically), they will continue to strip citizens.
I forgot the one word, (semi) in one of my phrases. This was a grammar error. I see which part you are referring to. That was a grammar error.
It say it clear when u say when is outside in a publick parking but i think u just want attention and not help, but is all good sometimes i get bored like now and entertain people like u lol just go out and have safe fun and get a big hug that will make u fell better
Already responded in a second message. That was a grammar error. When I initially used public, (check the posts above), I said semi-public. If it were a public parking lot, this post would have never been made. That’s the problem when you respond on a phone. Didn’t proofread it correctly due to all the jumbled words. My views stand firm regarding this matter.
Around here they can’t tell me I can’t carry a firearm BUT they can tell me to leave their property if I do. If I refuse to leave they can have me cited for trespassing.
