I dont have an AR actually. I have a Serbian AK platform. I voted for Palmeto because I live in South Carolina. Promote local. I want an AR but it isn’t actually necessary for me to spend $ on one.

Rock River Armory and Ruger…although, and it saddens me to say this being a Ruger fan, RRA is more accurate.

My first AR was a Colt and I really liked it. I traded that for a bushmaster and shouldn’t have! My vote went to Colt because that was the one preferred of the two I owned. Now with all the choices and more than one Build in the very near future, I’ll have a better opportunity to ponder this question.

I’m a big fan of Palmetto State AR’s and yes I will use my AR in home defense situations it’s chambered in 300blackout never had an issue with accuracy or cycling and a small shot out to Bear Creek Arsenal because I have a 458 SOCOM and she runs awesomely

I built my AR with different brands. My lower receiver is an Anderson Sport and I love it.

I have a DPMS, it fit my price range at the time. Shot a friends Sig M400 Elite though and would love to have one, just don’t have the budget for something that expensive.

My favorite AR is my Wilson Combat 6.8spec. Thow my PSA .458 SOCOM is loads of fun to shoot. My 6.5 Grendel is Red Barn Armory which is extremely accurate. Its really hard to pick a favorite. But. I’m going with the Wilson Combat cuz it was my first build

I built an Anderson NATO 1:7… I wanted to build a PSA but my local ffl had everything in house for close to the same price and Ar’s are just a fun build. Dispite it being my first build, I’m looking forward to this next. Everyone cries and says Anderson ewe but it shoots just like any other without problems so to each his own. My next build I’d like to do a PSA pistol with the 10.5" barrel so I’m looking forward to that. I’d end up giving there money back from the contest just have fun building one of their arms and the rounds to go with! I’m always broke when they have the magazine and case deals so I’d be sure grab that as well. Good luck everyone! USA all the way

Not really in love with ar’s, but adcor makes a great gun,a lot of what many ar’s use started at adcor…other brands are nice to.

Unfortunately as much as I would love to own a big name AR, the budget doesn’t always allow for it. I have lesser known name AR’s that I haven’t had any issues with and would trust my life to. A lot of these big names, I think, overlook us smaller folks or those of us on a budget.

S&M it would go together well with the pistol always on my hip

I am a fan of Anderson. They are a Kentucky company and big supporters of first responders. I have met some of their upper echelon in connection with Supporting Heroes and they are just good people.

Can’t say I got a favorite, seeing how I’m probably the last guy in Texas that doesn’t own one. Maybe y’all could help me out. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ve been looking at Sig Sauer M400

PSA all the way. Read the post by Craig6 and then look at the price point between PSA and all the others. You just can’t beat them. Their enhanced polished trigger kit can be picked up for about $30 too, and for my money is probably hands down one of the single most cheap and effective means to upgrade any off the shelf rig without dropping a mint on fancy drop in trigger systems…
