Leather is pretty nice and comfortable, I wish I have the time to make my own. But I found the best is leather/Kydex combo, having the leather comfort against your body and Kydex retention strength that never gets loose.

I agree. I use an Urban Carry Lock Leather holster that I couldn’t be happier with. It moves with me enough that I don’t even notice I’m wearing it, but has positive plastic adjustable retention with a nice solid clicks when I holster the gun.
