I just got an email saying i won the gun giveaway and filled out the w9 , How long before i get the check so i can purchase the gun .

Checks are 4-6 weeks after processing of the W9 by finance.

But…call anytime 24/7 as shared above and they will explain all the things

So, while you’re here…if you don’t mind (no response required)…will you be buying a gun/the gun listed? What gun? Gun people here like to talk about guns lol

1 day to write the check (if FBI background doesn’t come bad :grimacing:)
1 day for envelope pickup
5 days USPS delivery (hopefully the letter won’t be lost :upside_down_face:)

So we have at least 9 days… then

1 week to find the gun of your dreams
1 day for Form 4473 processing and another background check
… if you are approved…
3 days waiting time - according to 720 ILCS 5/24-3(g) :joy:

So… 2 weeks to have a gun… yikes

Forget the gun… just cash the check and buy some beer… :beers:
