AXIL GS Extreme hearing protection. These are 50% off! Retail price is $200, they are on sale for $99 each for Cyber Monday. These are touted as high-end bluetooth headphones that also double as hearing protection. I have a pair of their ear plugs XP Defender from their kickstarter a few years back and they work very well. HarleyWood reviews the PRO version of these which has custom ear molds, but the tech is the same as these non-PRO model. Notable is he says they don’t “clip” loud noises, they attenuate.
MidwayUSA has IMI 77gr “Razorcore” ammo on sale. It’s currently just over $1/rnd which is the lowest I’ve seen in a long time. Pre-COVID it was selling for around $0.70/rnd. This is almost universally a pretty accurate round out of almost everybody’s AR if you have a 1/7 twist barrel. It uses Sierra’s SMK bullet and is very similar to Mk262 ammo used by the MIL.
Checkout NormaShooting.com. They had good deals on ammo and free shipping (all the time) on orders of $150+. For me, local ammo supply has been rough and expensive when you do find it, so I’ve bought a lot online. The shipping cost drives that cost up a smidge but with Norma, the free shipping really manages that cost quite a bit. I’ve shot both 9mm and .223 from a rifle I lost in a boating accident recently and they all fed very well. Maybe a little dirty as the firing pin on the AR was surprisingly dirty after only 120 rounds but it’s brass, feeds, and the price is right.
