Ammo shortage

Just checking on federal website. The price is increasing. It has increased about 18% since June. Looks like supply and demand is here. There is nothing available at this time.

I picked up a box of 303 British today. They had 20 boxes of the stuff. The guy was a little shocked when he was scanning it. We both laughed when I asked him about 556 ammo.
The 303 is my 3rd go to weapon. I got 60 rounds for it. Should be enough one hopes.

I have seen 9mm ammo showing up at most internet stores recently…but who the hell is willing pay $0.6 per round?
And $0.6 is one of the lowest prices. :scream:

Just received the final parts to get my reloader 100% ready for production. The current prices have been making me consider selling some of my manufacturer ammo stock so I can buy more components. Even at current component prices, selling 9mm ammo at $0.60/round is at minimum a 2-for-1 advantage.

I have been looking at optic planet for ammo. It is put on back order and you might not get it right away but there is a possibility you will. And you are not charged until it ships.

Yeah… but I don’t like this part:

I’ve witnessed too many cancelled orders so far…

Just ordered some more .40S&W from Freedom Ammunition…they’re out of 9mm and 5.56 though (again shooting 40 is paying off). 45 ACP is slim pickins also.

Hope my order isn’t cancelled

I know don’t like it. But if it doesn’t come through I don’t have to pay anything.

Yeah, that’s true. Anyway, right now I solved my “shortage problem” with practicing .22LR :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve received this email last night:

Awesome, I thought… checked prices… 1,000 rounds for $600 + $14 shipping… not so bad.

9:55 AM - time to start hunting… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
10:00 AM - ammo ON STOCK ! :slightly_smiling_face:
10:00 AM - 1,000 rounds in my chart
10:01 AM - I hit BUY. Ooooooppppssss… ERROR - Product sold out :joy:
10:02 AM - nothing available :man_facepalming:
10:05 AM - I said to myself - “oh man… don’t be naive next time…” then packed my laptop and drove to my work…

END of the another episode of “Ammo Shortage Saga”
