I hear you. I voted the first time an 1968 and haven’t missed a vote since. Yes, it’s about guns, but it’s also to protect your first amendment rights, to protect your religious freedom, it’s about your kids and who calls the shots. You want a gas stove….vote! You want to choose the car you drive….vote! Where you will eventually live…,vote! Remember, their goal is you will own nothing and be happy. If that’s you, then don’t vote. As for me, my freedom is far too important and it’s still worth fighting for! I’ll fight, contribute, and Vote!

What’s the deal I’m registered to vote in 4 counties, 6 cities, 8 states and they keep oppressing my vote!
Do I have to declare my ILLEGAL status! Maybe tattoo my face, overtake a building owned by citizens of the United States! Bring an AR style platform, black scary, high powered thingamagig, looking device to the polls?
We can lead all the horses to water, and if we beat them hard enough or starve them, maybe they will drink! Other than that I have no idea!

Not only vote, but consider giving some of your time or treasure to worthy candidates. Today I’ll be making phone calls on behalf of a candidate for my state senate. I’ve never done this, but feel like I need to step up and try to do something more than tailgate politics online (I ain’t stopping doing that either!).

I am planning on being a pole watcher for my county. Doing the training next week, 1st time I have done it for a national election.

Leo23, I respectfully ask if you have ever dealt with the corrupt judicial system, personally?
If there are more (KNOWN) votes from the cemetery than every registered voter in the state, that makes me question the validity of the system. I do not see black helicopters everywhere, nor do I adhere to the notion that spacemen have landed here on Earth. But I can and do see corruption on all levels, local, state, and Federal.
I took an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America, it had no expiration date on it, but I have had to personally deal with the VERY corrupt Judicial system.
My name is not Bill Gates, nor John D Rockefeller, I don’t have the finacial means to fight the system any longer.

Most respectfully;
Grumpy Snipe

yes I have dealt with a corrupt justice system before. I took the same oath 35 years ago. it has been a part of my life for 33 of those 35. 2 years I was in a hospital fighting for my life.

Thanks LEO23, for both your time and your service to the country. I took my oath in 75. Not a good time in this country.

Scott,
You are my kind of man. You go guy. I’ve been an election judge for 50 years and I’m doing my part too.

Register and Vote!

The first step is to register. The next step is to vote. I live in IL. Early voting starts 9/26/24. IL also offers mail in voting. Of course, one can vote on election day. Once registered I would recommend mail in voting. Mail in voting should minimize if not eliminate any excuses for being too busy to vote, emergency condition, conflict, or other for not voting. I plan to vote early via mail.

nope not after the last selection I don’t trust mail in. I will go and wait in line on election day. I don’t do early voting either, why give them a chance to see how many votes they need to come up with early

Yeah, with the vote by “snail mail”, they even email me once the received and counted my vote. I kinda liked it.
